Okay brother...you asked for it. Hehehehehe. WATYF asked about starting a new thread for each tune...that's what I did, but I'm a self-absorbed asshole, so maybe I shouldn't have. :D :D

For the record...I did drums from scratch, but with samples, b/c I don't have a kit or a drum machine. That was by far the most time consuming part. Everything else HAD to be one take to get it done in time. I'm interested to hear yours, joe...it sounds like you're using about the same number of instruments as I did, and I was sweating my ass off by the time it was over. :D :D

MXL603's of OH...
57.. Snare...
57....Upper Tom
Nothing on Floor Tom
Apex..(Yorkville Bass drum Mic)

Created tonight 7:08 PM-8:38 PM EXACTLY!!!


I am not very pleased with the mix or the snare sound at all, but in the spirit of this, I adhered to my rules an did not go back and fix....

Vocals are too low also..

It's an old song I have recorded before..... I have about 3-5 edits on the vocals, and 1 edit on the left guitar... The rest is utterly, rawly LIVE!!!! :D:D:D

Everything is 1st or second take..

Hey that sounds great Vox! I like the guitar sound a lot. Drums actually sounds pretty damn good too. Vocals are good, but I like the gits the best on this one! Nice.

Vox...Man, yours is about a billion times better than the raggedy-assed shit I threw together. I don't care if you've recorded it before, that was impressive.

I wish I could play drums. :(

Joro... No Loops or Machines,.. Thats my fat ass sitting on the drum stool playing...

That is the second take... There are a few blunders... I slow down on the hat hits in the breakdown near the end....

And, listen for this.......

The prechorus is where I sing.."I'm never gonna Stop, I'm gonna get to rock"... Well, right when the second prechorus kicks in, I tried to do a little double snare hit, and on the second hit, I hit the rim of the drum...

I had to leave it.. No time for fixies....:D
