That "real" drum sound...

Hello,

I am searching for a drum loop program that most resembles the sound of a real kit. Are there any that randomise a hit from a selection of sounds to give that inconsistent sound? I also need one which will handle different timings, such as 7/8 rythyms.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Randomizing wont get you what you want, deliberate increase of a velocity will.

Try FL Studio, Reason (though Im not sure about the odd time signatures on it) or Cubase and a sampler.

Randomize is usually crap. One thing that gives drum programs a more realistic feel is to swing the highhat and or snare a bit. Some programs let you adjust that with a slider.
