I've had enough of a mix I'm working on. I can't get it to work. Two jangly guitars and a third coming in on the break, plus two trebly softsynths, and everything's washing everything else out. I've had it. I'm done with this song. It doesn't go on the album. So there.

There comes a point when the writing's on the wall. I've struggled with this fucking mix and what I've learned from it is this: what I'm trying to do doesn't work.

heh, I think we've *all* been there...

I had one that I struggled with for about 2 months straight - I chucked it aside in disgust and swore it would never work,

That was about 3 months ago. A week ago I threw it up, listened to it once, and found the key to the mix right away. A half hour later it was done.

So don't delete those files!
