Nightfire
Aspiring Idiot
I did all of this in about 3 hours time including writing the song
Was a last minute gift for my mom last Sunday.
Anyways, I got some mayor clipping and unwanted noises in there, I think it may have a lot to do with my soundblaser economy soundcard
Mixing chain is everything into a small Behringer mixer, and then tape-out into soundcard line-in. A little bit of reverb on everything.
Bass - right into the mixer with no DI. A basic low-cut on the board.
Guitar - dynamic Behringer mic at 12th fret, and also directly in with no DI box.
Vocals - behringer dynamic mics.

I like the melody and the bridge - classic styling.... The harmonies were great - I wanted more of them after hearing the first chorus. Something about family vocals that blend together so well... You have to like a song about Mom
