I haven't been visiting the Homerecording.com BBS much anymore, I've been so busy recording and programming (my job) but wanted to pop into this forum and say "thank you" to all of the people that post here with their helpful tips. There are too many people to list them all, but I appreciate the advice of John Sayers, and the links you provided helped me out when I didn't know what to do. I went from recording on an old Tascam 424 in my bedroom (and not knowing a thing about studios) to building my own! It has turned out better than I expected, and I am really enjoying it. Here are links to my studio during construction, as well as completed. Thank You again to everyone!

If anyone is interested, here is what I am using to record with:
- Home built AthlonXP 1800+ DAW, using n-track studio as my recording software
- Soundcraft M8 mixer
- ST Audio C-Port sound card
- Behringer Powerplay Pro headphone amp
- Behringer Composer Pro
- 1 AT 4033 microphone
- 2 Behringer ECM8000 microphones
- 6 EV Black Knight 1 microphones
- 2 Shure SM58's
- 1 EV 660 microphone
- Johnson J-Station
- Tech 21 NYC Trademark 10 amp
- Advent Calypso speakers - these were $50 at Costco - were meant to just be temporary replacements but have ended up hanging on to them - they sound excellent!
- lots of pedals and other crap
Anyways, once again - thank you everyone - I couldn't have finished this without all of your help!
