Can anyone help me solve this puzzle. I'm using Audition 1.5. On top of the on-board Realtek AC97 soundcard, I have a EMU 0404 installed, and I've got a Line 6 TonePort. I know these do the same thing, but I'm mentioning it anyway. I also have a MK-249c midi synth plugged into USB, that is using Stein. Hypersonic 2. Everything works as I need it to, until I try to capture the sound of the MK-249c in Adobe Audition 1.5. I have done it before, I have no idea how I did it. Between all the software invovled there are so many configurations of hardware its making me punch people in the street. Please help before I get beat up again.

Stop puncing people in the street, your karma will improve, they'll stop beating you up, you're concussion will get better, and everything will make sense again.
BTW, "Test your Knowledge" probably isn't the best way to ask for help. It can lead to answers like "what's my motivation", which can lead to you calling someone a cocksucker, which can lead to everyone just ignoring your problem. ;)
As to your problem, my best advice is to RTFM. I'm not trying to be a smart ass, though I'm sure I'm comming off as one, but really......this is such a basic thing you're asking about that you must not be putting any effort into learning this stuff at all. Don't just look for someone to tell you how to tie your shoelaces, Learn what you are doing.

Ok, now go ahead and tell me what a prick I am.

The MK-249c is a midi controller, not a 'midi synth'.

Let me know if and when you are sucessful capturing the sound of midi in Adobe Audition.

Ha ha. You guys are a pretty sorry bunch. What kind of a terd makes fun of someone for not knowing the difference between a midi synth and a midi controller? And I need to get a life? I cant resist the urge to goad guys like you into this sort of non-sense. Funny, I typed the exact same post into a different forum, and no one gave me shit for trying to be funny, instead I got my problem solved. Thanks to Robert D though, I dont think you're a prick at all, and your advice was appreciated, except that I borrowed the midi SYNTH from a friend and it had no manual. Oh and Gardon, that sound of one hand clapping will stop if you take your hand off your cock.

Thanks Rob. As I stated earlier, my problem was solved for me on a different forum. I developed new problems on this forum, but those had to do with attitude. I feel much better now.

Ok...his 2nd post was out of line...but it did make me giggle..slurping cocks indeed.

I don't know anything at all about audition, so I can't help. I bet the manual covers loading a virtual instrument and triggering sounds though.

My lease is up on my sense of humor now.
