Not sure if its a slow server or what...but the download didnt happen.
I couldnt listen.

Should work. It started downloading when I tried there but It probably will take about 4 and a half ye4ars to download unless you have broadband.

I use broadband and still nothing.
I let it sit and waited for a minute, and nata.
not sure what to say. maybe ill try later.
Peace.

My browser's estimating the download time for the first tune at over an hour. You've obviously got some kind of upload restriction. I'll let it run, but I may forget that I downloaded it, lol.

I tried man, but it was very very very very slow, and I'm on a fast broadband. Try nowhere radio or something.

3 HOURS LATER
Finally got the first tune to load. I'll bet you like Radiohead, eh? The song has a ton of potential, and I really don't say that lightly. The bass is overcompressed and the drums have some pretty severe issues...as does the treatment of the vocal...either make the distortion worse so that it's obviously an effect, or fix it, lol. But the main thing, in my opinion, is that it's a cool fucking song, played with some emotion. I really wish you'd put the rest of them up somewhere with bigger pipes, b/c I'm afraid nobody will hear them, and my comments will hardly help you make them be all they can be.

Good luck

Thanks. I agree about the vocals during the chorus. The producer just slapped on a load of distortion but didn't bring the volume down so it sounds far too loud and well.... crap. Plus we ran out of money before we could work on the drums but one day...... ;) What do you reckon would be the best way to reduce the file size? I was thinking reduce the sample rate but is there anything else I could do? I think freewebs is utter pants as a web hoster. Can anyone recommend a decent and cheap web hoster I could get a .com or a .co.uk with? Thanks.

couldn't check the songs out, but some comments on the website:
You've got a good style coming, but you did some things that are 100% not-done, and for a reason. Like using Times New Roman, please, unless your making a straight-forward newspaper site, don't use times new roman, use Arial or Verdana or something like that.

Then there's the blue underlined links, yuk. Sorry mate, but you should really change them. There's nothing more ugly then a black-and-white website with default color links.

Duely noted ;) Cheers. Got to get a graphics editor badly. I now know why the MP3 files take so long. Sh!tty freewebs caps any file over 1Mb so I'm going to have to shell out £30 to become a premium user which will remove the capping and then a further 20 notes to get a dot co dot uk adress. Can anyone tell me if that's good or not. That's roughly $90 for the Americans.

depends on for how long you get that space. If it's a year for 90 bucks, that's not bad, if it's for a month, do more research.

Yeah its a year. I'll probably just go with them then. I did specify in the CCS that it should be Arial sans-serif but I realised I spelled it ARIEL. only problem is now I'm trying to sort it and it just won't change from Times New Roman. This kind of thing will turn me grey and I'm only 20!

www.nowhereradio.com

If you're gonna' pay anybody, I recommend you pay the owner of that site, but if you just wanna' store abour 3 songs for free, that people can download pretty quickly, that's the place.

I'm going to give that place a try. I suppose it'd be a good idea having the songs there as well as on the site so that more folk can here them. Cheers chris. You wouldn't be clued up on CSS and HTML would you by any chance?

It'd be easier I suppose sticking something like taht on my home pc and sticking the files onto floppy or CDR then bringing them to work to stick on the web. Och well. Nice site by the way.
