Hi,
I am new to this forum, but it looks like a great place to have some questions answered.
I have just purchased a Telefunken D17 Mic from Ebay. I took a chance and paid $300.00 for it. It is apparently a rare mic made by AKG for Telefunken, and bares the Telefunken badge. It looks like a tube mic, but isn't one. I am considering running it through a tube pre amp.
Does anyone have experience with this mic, and it's recording quality?
