Teac 3440 4 channel tape deck. Handles 7” and 10.5” reels. Purchased 3 years ago and gently used in an all-analog vintage home project studio since then. Last used to record and mix live concert in September 2013. Heads in excellent condition, all functions work as designed, all lights work. Cosmetically very nice. Front panel in excellent condition, wood sides and back show minor scratches that are visible in the photos.
Included with the deck is a near-mint condition DBX 155 Noise Reduction unit which offer 4 channels of DBX Type II noise reduction.
$600 takes it all.
The deck is available for sale in the southeastern US, as I’m not willing to risk shipping it due to the weight and some bad experiences previously with ground shipping companies. I’m located in Chattanooga, TN, which is a 2-hour drive from Nashville, Knoxville, Atlanta, Birmingham, and Huntsville, four hours from Asheville and 5 hours from Memphis.
