The singer for my band uses the voice prism though it's a great processor you still have that bit of delay when switching patches in a live performance.
We have a VocalPrism Plus as well. I had to pre-program all of our song's harmony parts ahead of time into the presets. I can call up a preset pretty quickly.
I am not crazy about the VocalPrisim's preamps since I run my Mic directly into it. I use a foot switch to turn the harmonies on and off. I guess I could bypass the preamp my using it through a mixer's send and returns but that would mean I would have to have a mixer right next to me on the stage.
I was just wondering if the VoiceLive had better preamps and effects then the VocalPrism?
I use the VoiceTone pedal for live gigs. It contains the same compressor as the VoiceLive and it works fantastic, especially useful when the PA is "provided" at a gig and you don't know what to expect.
