TC Electronics G major

Not that you seem to care, but I ordered a G major today.

I'm not that big on effects, more into tones but this seems verrrrry nice.

I noticed Robert Fripp was using a G-Force last fall when I saw King Crimson... I've always heard nothing but raves for anything TC Electronics makes.

I use a G force. It's an awesome piece of equipment. The one thing the G force does that I'm not sure the G Major does the same way is let you use all the effects all the time in any configuration you want. (not that you want to use all the effects all the time) But it's got the processing power to do so. No goofy effect configuration algorithms to mess with. Basically this makes the UI much easier to use than other processors. This is one of the strong points of G force. Oh and it sounds great too.

Anyway I haven't tried the G Major yet. I'm sure it's quite respectable for the price range.

Hey Chris N; I looked at the G force and for the extra cost I decided to opt for the Major. As I said I'm not that much into effects as such. The G major is effects only, all of them very good IMO and no extra gimmicks. The point is I'll use it a lot and get the most out of it; most things you buy (all in one units) have many weaknesses and no consistent quality in sound.

Oh yeah; I forgot to add. They only just came out here (in England) a few months ago and the asking price is £450. As always I got a great deal and got it for £370 (as I bulked bought). They seriously couldn't go any lower so I think I've got a good deal all round.
