TC Electronics G-Major

Has anyone used a Boss GT6 pedal to control any of the TC Electronics guitar FX racks at all (via MIDI)?

I think it should work but I don't have experience in using MIDI in this way.

Lets try it this way. Maybe we can compare the Midi specs on these two devices with a little help.

Here is the Midi stuff the G-Major will recognize:

1. Control Change 0-127
2. Prog Change
3. Sysex
4. Midi Clock

There are four Midi modes also:

• Mode 1 - OMNI ON, POLY
• Mode 2 - OMNI ON, MONO
• Mode 3 - OMNI OFF, POLY
• Mode 4 - OMNI OFF, MONO

These will mostly determine whether the G-Major will recieve on all channels (OMNI ON) or just a single channel (OMNI OFF).
As for the POLY or MONO, I'm not clear on how that is used and the manual says nothing about it.

NOW, if somebody could be kind enough to post the Midi spec for the Boss unit we can attempt to make some sort of intelligent comparison to see if these guys can talk amongst themselves.
