Taylor T5

A friend of mine bought a Taylor T5. Looked and felt great. Did not have time to connect to an amp.

What are the experiences and opinions on the T5?

It's sort of an instrument unto itself. Through the amps I tried it isn't totally acoustic or electric sounding. Might be a nice alternative to an archtop. Not for me though, I'll stick to my regular steel string and nylon acoustics and the Variax.
