Hey guys. I have finally figured out exactly what I need so I'm selling my 514ce. It's absolutely mint condition. Bought at a tiny little guitar store in KY where he doesn't let people use picks on them in the store. I have only kept it at home and humidity and temperature controlled. I have owned it less than a year, bought new, and probably played it a total of 15 times. It is perfect in every way, it just isn't the sound I really need. It's a 2003 model which I bought in late spring last year, 2004.
It has the ES system, which works just fine, I've not had problems with it plugged in in my home studio. Comes with all accessories; pamphlets, info cards, hangtags, dvd, es cable, trussrod wrench, dampit humidifier, and bill of sale, all in the nice hard shell case. In mint condition, better than new at alot of guitar stores. Absolutely perfect, no dings scratches or playing wear. I have been going back and forth on it for months and really tried to bond with it, but never played it that much. I played probably 50 Taylor x14's, 300 to 800, before deciding this had the perfect Taylor tone. It is a better strummer than any 514 I have played.
$1600 and shipping (it will be double boxed). I can take Paypal but need to split fees ($48) they're brutal on high $ purchases. But that way you can use a credit card, too. I will also offer a 24 hour evaluation period with it. If it's not everything I say it is or you just don't like it, you can return it and just pay the shipping costs both ways. That's the best guarantee I can think of, and something that helps when you're forking out alot of dough.
Thanks,
Mike
