tascam us-428

I am thinking of purchasing the tascam us-428, and was wondering if anyone had feedback on this unit. I will be using it as a controloer for my PC based studio running nuendo2. Is the us-428 a good product to buy? I am not looking for a superior produced sound, just wanting to record directly into my pc. --- Dizzi

software is worth the money, easy to use hardware interfaces are the issue. but since i have posted this, I recieved the unit and it works just fine for nuendo2. thanx for all your input everyone.
