Read the Getting Started guide and follow it to the letter. It's a pretty versatile and handy device for recording once you get it up and running, and realize what it can do. If you have specific questions as you go along, please post them.

It's the smell..
Do not plug in or unplug a mic while the phantom power is on....this will severly damage the unit!
