I have all proper signals going into the TSR8, the meter on the track to be recorded is fine (so no mic/cable/console problems), yet nothing actually gets recorded on that track.
This doesn't always happen; I'll record tracks 1-3 and 6-8 just fine, but specifically 4 and 5, for a part of a tape, won't register on the tape.
It's a used tape, so I thought, oh, those two minutes of track 4 are just messed up somehow (?), but I recorded successfully on track 5, then while RErecording on track five I had this problem again.
Any ideas? Thx.
