Hi there!
First of all, and since this is my first post, I must say I was surprised to see the amazing dynamics of this forum!!!
I am currently waiting for the arrival of my newly bought TM-D1000 (eBay of course : 180 €) I think it was a good bargain!
And as I don't have a TDIF interface, and can't afford the Mixtreme 192 sound card right now
, I was thinking if anyone has already coupled the TM-D1000 with a iBox-8 line independently
in order to use the TM digital inputs via TDIF. And as I am a proud owner of a Delta-410 I was thinking of connecting the 8 analog outputs(rca) of the Delta to the iBox (rca) and then to the TM-D1000 via TDIF.
The rest of the analogue inputs of the TM-D1000 would be for guitar, microphone and Quasimidi Raven-Max synth (eheheh). The idea is to route almost everything through the TM-D1000, use its effects and EQ, MIDI automation and such, and then record sub-mixes or a track at once to Cubase through the SPDIF input of the Delta-410 using the SPDIF-out of the TM-D1000.
I would appreciate any kind of suggestions, especially if any of you has or knows a similar set-up.
I know this post ended a bit lengthy, sorry about that anyway..
