Tascam recorder help needed! Please Read!

Hi, I have a DP 008 and on the song I'm working on now (my first real recording process) I left a 10second blank at the beginning so I could know when to come in for the other tracks. I set the in point at :11 and the out point at 3:51. Now when I go into the master recording phase and press record it still starts at :00, why is that? how can I fix it? do I need to put it to :10 manually or am I not doing something else right?

You need to go back to the tracking section and remove the section from 00:00 to 00:10 for all 8 tracks, then resave.
