Tascam m30 with DAW

Hey everyone,

I’m interested in getting a Tascam M30 Mixer. I want to send stems from DAW to the 8 channels and send from Tascam back to DAW capturing the 8 analog processed channels separately, including gain an EQ.

As far as I could find out, the Tascam track-outs are only pre Fader and pre-EQ - did I see that correctly?

Would there be a workaround, other than sending, say, channel 1 with eq to channel 2 and then capture CH 2, wich would then give me 4 tracks only?

The M30 direct outs are post fader/post eq. The send/receive inserts are pre fader/eq.

Hey, that’s good to know, thanks . Means my attempt could work out properly I guess? Simultanious in and out, to keep it in sync withe the DAW‘s dry stems?

There may or may not be some latency between what you bring back from the TASCAM but you'll just have to try it and see.

Thanks again, well that would suit my needs next step is to find one in good working condition
