Man, it's too dry, try some reverb on the vocals and/or delay... Did you program the drums? they definitely need a little work, like adjust levels, a little compression and Eq. I can't hear the bass clearly, is there, but can't tell what is doing... Keep going!!
Reverb. Delay. Okay, I'll keep that in mind. There's one little spot there where I've overpeaked the vocals, so I might consider a punch-in or redo,... TBD. Nah,... maybe not!

The drums are played on a kit. I don't think I got as clear or snappy a drum sound as I like because I didn't want to move the f/e mixer, so it's just 2 mics straight-in. This illustrates how I believe the DP02 is begging for a front-end mixer,... but in the end I was lazy & wanted to save a little effort. I've considered rerecording the drum track with proper EQ thru the 246 f/e setup. It's noticeably better that way, IMO. I normally EQ most things going into the recorder, hence was using the 246 as front end,...
(with exception of the drum tracks!)
The bass is tucked in on the left, seamlessly melding with the elec. piano track on the right, so well to the point it doesn't stand out.

Which isn't to say I'd not possibly make a remix on another day and it wouldn't sound different!

On the subject of rerecording tracks or spots,... it might sound like a good idea on the surface, but I'm somewhat reluctant to get overly bogged down in retakes. I mean,... for however well or not this track holds together,... it might take me many more takes to improve it,... or worse yet have a diminishing return on later retakes that have trashed better previous takes. Yikes! Ever been there? I have!!!

Thanx for listening, aye!
