Tascam capstan motor dilemma!

Hey folks, the motor on my early version Tascam 44 just died on me and I'm shopping for a replacement... I've been told that several motors can work in the machine as long as they meet certain specifications.... The part # on my current broken motor is EM 1446, I'm wondering what other motors could work as a replacement? I've found 2 on eBay (pics attached) that might be fit, but I don't know for sure. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi. You’re positive the motor is dead and not the servo assembly?

have you tried powering the motor straight from a +24V DC supply to see if it spins up?
