Tascam 5A 8X4 mixer

Anybody know anything about this mixer? Have a lead on a decent price, but I have no idea what the specs are on the thing. The owner doesn't know anything about mixers.

Basically I want to know if it will work well for multi-tracking to a DA-88

The 5A is from the Teac line. That was before everything changed to tascam.
I am pretty sure it has pretty much all the same things as the tascam model 35.
And yes if the price is right it will work well with your Da-88.
The one problem you will have is that it does not have phantom power for condenser mics so you will have to buy a external phantom power supply for it. Check out the ART models they make a single channel unit and a dual channel unit that work real well.
I have one of the dual units that I use with my tascam 35 mixer.
