Tascammer
I need some advice on setting up my equipment to record my gtretsch drumkit. I have a Tascam 424mkII, a smaller Tascam Porta02 mkII, and a Behringer mixer, mx802A. I am using Audix mikes fusion series (f10 f12bass drum). My overhead mikes are Marshall mxl604s (2).
Im beating my head on the wall trying to figure this all out.
I have the overheads going to the Behringer because it has phantom power. I am running the bass drum mike, and snare mike (the audix) through the other remaining 2 rca jacks.
I have two remaing audix mikes which I am miking the toms with. I am running those two into the Tascam 424. I am running the Behringer into the Tascam. So basically I am using two inputs on the Tascam for the toms, and the rest throught the Behringer.
Anyone familiar with this particular equipment, and do you have any advise on the basic set up?
This is all b4 I even egt into eqs etc.
