My son asked for the 424 and I believe I can get one for around $120. I also found the DP for about the same price. On the surface, from a real novice, this would seem a step up, but i sure don't want to disappoint him by choosing incorrectly. Any advice / input / suggestions?
My son is 18 and plays around frequently with recording his guitar & voice, and those of friends, on a patched-together setup on his computer.
