Tascam 424 MK II

Hey Sainitti:

Yeah, you can do some good stuff on a four track box as long as you don't have to bounce. When you bounce, you lose singular volume/tweak control over the tracks you bounce and that is a negative for "good."

If you have an 8 tracker or more, you probably won't have to bounce thus giving you a better shot at a great mix. [Mixing can take several hours if you're out for "good."

Also, a good mic for vocals, a mic pre-amp, and a reverb box would be an asset to "good."

The more time you put into experimentation, the more often you will arrive at "good."

Have fun,

i had one and its a very good four track. one thing is make sure you have it on the noise reduction thingy on the back of the unit. and peak the levels so every once in awhile it gets in the red, so the tape noise gets gets covered, know what im saying?
