Tascam 2488 Vocal not in stereo?

Greeting Tech Wizards...

I'm recording a new song and have imported my instrumental files. I'm laying down the vocal and it's only playing out of my left speaker. Is there a simple trick to get a stereo sound with my vocal? I recorded on track 1. (Are track 1 and 2 auto linked?) I don't know the lingo! If anyone has a suggestion, please talk to me like I'm a kid.

Tracks 1 and 2 might be linked, but you can un-link them.

But, aside from that, why would you expect your vocals to be stereo? They should be mono. You recorded one voice into one mic on one track. That's mono. All you need to do is pan Track 1 to the middle. Right now, it's probably just panned hard left.
