Hi,
I have been pondering what my next recorder upgrade will be (digital multi-tracker vs. computer etc.) and am leaning toward the Tascam 2488 neo with maybe a computer later. (Currently have Tascam DP01 FX). I guess I'm just one of those who prefer the hands on vs. working with a mouse etc.
Anyway, to get to my question, I want to have the ability to add (not while recording, but after) separate effects to each channel during mixdown. Would be nice to do this with external effects processor if it's possible.
As an example, could I add let's say, Chorus to track 1, Flanger to track 2, some reverb on track 3, a little delay on track 4, Chorus + flanger on track 5 ... and so on? Like a real recording studio could.
Or do I have to go the PC route (which I really don't want to do) to accomplish this?
Thanks for any input
