I have the Tascam 244 multi-tracker (it's old) and i was wondering if anyone knew the best way for me to record a 4 piece (2 guitars, bass and drums) band into it. I also have a 12 channel Peavey PA mixer at my hands. We don't have any diect box things. Should we run the guitars through preamps into the mixer/4 track or should we run our amps into the mixer? Should we mic our amps? Should we record everyone all at once or dub everything?
