have cakewalk pro audio 9 and have been recording some basic audio and guitar tracks by micing guitar throughthe audio channel. i've been plugging a cheap plastic mic into the mic jack of one of the labtec computer speakers. one of the speakers has a jack for the mic and another for headphones. i got a condenser mic and a tascam us-122 interface. its pretty staightforward. download the drivers, plug the interface into a usb port, plug the mic in and record. i had no trouble recording the old setup but i can't get anything to record with the us-122. there's only 5 switches on the thing and i've tried every option. anybody have any experience with this?

did you set the cakewalk to use the tascam in the audio properties and then specificly on the individual tracks

ps- you might have better luck posting this in the cakewalk forum
