I knew this could come back to bite me eventually...
It had to. Anything and everything that spins does so :D
Once upon a time I've came across with a "mad-science" term: "cycle of entropy", which I foolishly thought that I've made up :o and the meaning of which is far beyond the reach of my consciousness, but I think it does something :D

btw, have I've mentined "genuine recordist"? I hope so.
Excellent!

Well, the stuff I'm editing in the razorblade video was mostly digital in origin, not least because the actors are all over the planet. It's assembled with Audacity and then, for the final mix version I dump it onto the multitrack and mix it down to tape like an album.

The first one (which is the soundtrack in the DMFA video) was edited digitally - this time I decided to go the whole hog and edit it on tape as well. I figured it would be kind of cool, and I needed the practice :P

Anyway, if anyone has suggestions for things that would be cool to videotape, I'm all ears. Currently there's two mixdowns, one of which has two machines locked in sync, and of course the razorblade edits.

Basically, the first hint I had that there might be a demand for this kind of thing was in this thread.
