So I am running 4 tracks of acoustic guitar from the computer to a stereo track out(1 take bridge and neck panned hard left,2nd take the same panned hard right). When I run them out of the back of my soundcard through the Lex verb and back into the inputs on the front i get this hideous constant distorted synth type sound out of my moniters (in the key of G  ). I tried both balanced and unbalanced cables.

I've heard of people doing this to add hardware reverb after compression so I'm pretty sure it's possible ( I know I'm adding a little noise  ). Anybody know why I'm having this problem?

Sounds like you have created a feedback loop. Think through the signal chain and figure out where the loop is, or start writing new songs in the key of G. ;) My guess is it's in your soundcard mixer app.

As Robert said, thats a feedback loop. make sure you are not sending back to the same channel/track
