Sync Boss DR550 to Cubase???

Is there any way I can sync my Boss DR550 to cubase through my delta 1010?? I took two years of recording school but slept through midi, man this stuff is hard!!!! Any help would be appreciated. I basically want to signal it to start and keep it synced during audio playback. Thanks

Does the DR550 have a midi in? If so hook it up to the computer and set the DR to slave to midi sync.

Your best bet is going to be programming the drums in cubase and using midi to just trigger the sounds on the DR. It's a lot easier to program drums in a software sequencer where you can cut and paste easily. If you end up doing any heavy editing of the song then you can edit the drums along with everything else. In the end it is much more flexible and you don't have to worry about sync.
