Thanx man. Yeah, that Sonor snare. It doesn't have the same pop it had on the other tune, because I put a 0-ring on it for this tune. I needed to tame it a little bit. I also used the Sonor toms for this one.
Haha, that's good to know cuz I thought the toms sounded different than your usual sound, but I couldn't put my finger on why.

Sounds good,
Intro toms are not panned so wide like original I think but it's good thing, sure.

Thanx Sikter.. Not sure what you're referring to....The original version of this has no "intro toms". In fact, there is no drum track on the original at all.. It's all hand-percussion.

:)

At this point, I'm pretty much using the whole Sonor kit, except for the kik..

.

I meant percussion,
(sorry my french)

I miss the piano chords from the original. Keith Richards uses the G tuning (which he developed) to sort of emulate the piano voicing(s) live. Alot of bands do this and the melody slips into a more minor sound than the original which implies a more major scale melody IMO. Nice recording, cool arrangement ideas. Nice rendition of the lead guitar.

There are many live versions of this by the Stones, all sounding quite different from one another.

Actually, on my version, the guitar coming out of the right speaker plaaying a sort of lead/rythm part is taken from the "Get Yer Ya-ya's Out" version. For that matter, so is the recording of the live audience, a long with the solo in the breakdown part. My version, not counting the first verse with percussion, is a lot more like the "Ya-Ya's" version than the studio version.

Only a Homo-sexual would like this poncey garbage.dire

Considering that I heard the worthless noise that you're trying to pass off as music, I'll take that as a compliment. Get some talent then maybe you can mouth off., dickless. :D

I forgot to tell you that your voice got very close to Mick's.
You sound more like Klaus Meine on your originals.

Damn, I'd like to see what Dwillis would have come up with, with this :D

All jokes aside, you really nail them Jagger Vox Rami.

I sounds really bad ass, but I think I've heard the original so many times and it's a little darker sounding. This version sounds much more upbeat or something. The vocals don't sound as raspy and it may sound forced a bit. As far as covers go this is a good one.

Yeah, other than the first verse, I'm doing more of the live version from "Get Yer Ya's Ya's Out" (MSG 1969), which has drums and guitars as opposed to percussion and pianos, and is much more up-tempo.

Thanx for the listen, Foul.

Jesus, it sounds so true to the original, absolutely fantastic. The mix is so clean and perfect, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. If Jagger was dead, you'd be his reincarnation, Rami...!:D The percussions in the beginning are great and the drum sound? i can hear every single component of the kit loud and crisp and clear. Nothing else to say except great work!:)

Hey Joey, thanx a lot man. I had fun doing this tune because I was able to play with the arrangement, and let loose vocally a little bit.

I've actually done a few re-mixes in the last couple of days, taking into account pretty much everything that's been mentioned in this thread. Hopefully, I can lay it to rest for a while now.
