Awesome job! I love the spread you get on the percussion throughout...
Nice punchy kick and snare also...
By the way.... I'm tired of hearing you complain about how you're "not a guitar player"... I wish I couldn't play guitar half as well as you 'can't'
Love your stuff man...
Thanx alot, Gumble....I've always loved this tune, too. You're welcome at my site any time, bro.Gumblefish said:This is a quality version of this. I love this song anyway but you do a really cool version of it. I first heard this version last night when i was being nosey in your website. I didnt see this thread before. I also like your version of Everybodys got something to hide...You stay pretty true to the song but also bring something to it which is a hard thing to do, i find. Well palyed!
He diddnt send it off to be mastered. He did it himself by limiting it himself, i believe they are both plugins.myhatbroke said:I have no clue what any of that is but HEY its my first step to learning!
RAMI said:Well, it's not "professionally" mastered. I put it in Wavelab and added some L2 and Magneto. .
I've never tried another one. To be honest, I don't think I have a good enough ear to be able t tell the subtle differences there might be. A friend, who's opinion I trust, recommended Magneto at the time I was looking into that kind of thing. I like what it does, and I've heard the Vintage Warmer is good too, but never tried it.gummblefish said:How do you like Magneto? Have you ever used Vintage Warmer or any other tape saturation plugs? I have never used Magneto.

I never knew they sounded different. Oh, and why is there a need for a mastering plug in? From the looks of it, Mastering deals with levels. WHy couldn't you just use the master volume and raise it up?
