Thanks, Travis. Luckily it doesn't come out of the "SLUSH" fund... :D
But my wife did say I can't print any more $40 bills, so it will have to be a $50. Since you can't play, would you be interested in judging who gets it? I'm going to like all these suckers, so will have difficulty picking anything.
Ed

I'd be honored to be your co-judge. I would'nt want to make the decision on my own because you know how these things get.............female musicians start sending naked pictures of them selves to try to gain some favor and I'd probably give in too easily on my own. :D

I'd give in if that ever happened.... :D

Scrubs, now that was sweet. What did you use for the effect? That was Spacey......and the aluminum hat thing reminds me of a guy who lived near us as a kid, that "communicated" with the aliens....... :D

The guitar on the left was a yamaha tele, di, & the one on the right was an airline lap steel (which I don't really know how to play) with a wah pedal. Both were processed through a flanger, delay, and some vst filters. The main one is the "grumblebum," plus others called "breakdown" and "H2O."

Pretty cool stuff. I downloaded some of those vst's to try. Should make some cool sounds.
Thanks.
Ed

Nice job Track Rat. That fit very well with the tune.

It was kind of hard to listen to after getting a hole burned in my head from Scrubs "message". :D Nice job to you too Scrubs. That was definately the mose experimental effort so far.

Rules Question

I may have missed this somewhere, but can the original tune be altered itself?

I thank you sirs. That's a USA 98 Strat into a Hughes & Kettner B.A.T.T. which is a tube bass preamp that also has an EL84 that will drive a speaker at 5 watts. I fed that into a 15" speaker and miked it with a MD-441 thru an HHB Radius 10 preamp. MOTU converters (GenX6 clocked) to Cakewalk, but summing was done analog out through the MOTU2408 into an HD24 as a big soundcard mixed/effected through a Tascam M-3500.

You know I got this track off a "Finding Nemo" game for kids, right ;)

Yeah. That's why I didn't break out any of my cool stuff. :D

i've really liked all the entries so far. I played guitar in a few surf bands years ago so this one is pretty much right up my alley.
