strange, i just logged in to check and i see a bunch of entries, including mine... hmm...
 
Hope I'm not too late...

Track rat has a winning entry on guitar already, but I gave it a shot anywho for fun. Surfing and guitars are not my forte, I shoulda dusted off the Hammond for this one.

I guess scrubs is a shoe-in for the comedy, or my download was horribly corrupted. :confused:

And you say if you'd been in the studio it'd be better? :cool: I have a Hammond A105 in the "studio" (my wife calls it the garage) but I don't think it sounds that good...must be the player. :D

OK, it's been long enough!

The judging was done not only by me, but also my wife and nearly 8 year old daughter who has two years of violin lessons to her credit. The top positions are based on ranking our top three preferences:

1st place winner: Track Rat

2nd place winner: F_cksia

3rd place winner: VSpaceBoy

Lemme know what you'd like: that's one of two sets of "String Swing" guitar mounts (rectangle or circle), or the pair of Vifa drivers.


As for the loser prize, I'm going to allow myself some discretion here . . . my top rating was SnakeDog5050's absolutely brilliant effort, but the wife & kid disagreed strongly enough to keep him out of the top 3. However, I shall reward his effort with the loser prize, the single Advent Calypso indoor/outdoor speaker. He also wins based on humor, with scrubs a close second (to last :p )

I'll second that. evh got a vote on my card, but the other judges seemed to penalize distortion :confused:

Well hey, that was a lot of fun making that, thanks :) Crazy what can happen on a night when my electric needed soldering & have a bunch of other instruments I don't usually play.
