Hello, I use Sonar with a Delta 44 and record at 24 bits/ 41,000. When i record a track and need to do wav editing, i highlight the wav file in sonar and use tools and select sound forge 5. My problem is once i get it into sound forge i cant play it back on my delta card. i get an error is sound forge saying, file format not supported, check bits etc.... Any idea why this happens. It doesn't make sense because if i view the file properties in sound forge, it says 24 bit/ 41000khz and i can play it back on my sound blaster but not my delta. Any ideas.

What version of Sound Forge? Pre 5.0d? I had similar problems until upgrading to 5.0d...

i don't have sonar, so i'm probably clueless, but could it be the delta drivers? what version are you using? there's all the multiclient issues with older versions.

First you say 41,000. Then you say 41,000khz. The latter is unlikely because that would be 41 Mhz. I know of no card that samples that high. The former is an unsupported format of Sound Forge, unless you meant 44.1khz?

Thats what i meant, sometimes too many numbers all to once makes me a little slow. Anyway I corrected the problem by upgrading to 5d. Thanks for the help people.
