Super clean speaker for guitar?

As I recall, they're rated for around 25 or 30 watts for full range music, but as a guitar speaker, I think you'd be fairly safe using it with a 50 or 60 watt amplifier. I used one in an old 60 Watt Ampeg Portaflex for many years on stage without any problems.

..Got to add too that 'JBL watts' are like dog years, a whole different scale'.:)
Well, alot more 'out's per yer in's'.

Dogg Buy an old 60's Sunn cab with JBLs or their own Transducers in them. Pure clean tone.
This thread's like old home week. I ran (at various times); Twin' 2-d120's, 2 Sunn cabs 2-d130's ea, later, the Twin w/ 1-d130 (-13.5 lbs ani't nothing to sneeze at. ;)

Yes sir. And since I learned (back when' :) who's babies they were' I think of you when this stuff comes up.
Still have a few around, (even grabbed up a used d110' a while back for no good reason other than 'it'll come in handy some time.
Funny how JBL' has made a bit of special place' impression that lingers from those days.
Ok, last bit-;) How about a pair of 075's @2400hz atop a pair of Sunn dual-15 cabs for the 'home stereo'. :D
