Two Sundays ago. The night before I worked a recording gig at The Pageant in St Louis tracking an SRV Tribute show and ended up with Covid. Fast forward I just got around to listening to our weekend jam. The vocals are distorted (my fault) cause the MD441 don't have tons of gain and we were live. Oh well.

I guess it ain't nuthin to write home about but it was a good day.

It's alway fun to do this. I just got together with a couple of friends a week ago. The drummer did a recording but it was really rough. The guitar and bass were direct, no amp, so they sound pretty flat. Between me trying to remember lyrics, missing solos and chords and the bassist forgetting where to go, it wasn't ready for Top 40! I figure we can be forgiven for the rust, since it's only the second time we've gotten together since the mid 70s.

However, the Old Fashioneds were excellent. (y)

Really cool vibe, love the live sound, love the key's! Like the guitar solo around 4:10 mark before piano solo!

For a live "on the fly" mix, this is really well done.

A long time friend and bandmate, Dr Brad Gregg. His day job prevents gigging so we jam when we can
