Just listening on bookshelf speakers with a relatively low volume....the snare drum seems to have less presence than the bass drum. Its not a "wrong" choice per se, but it does seem unusual, that the bass drum cuts more than the snare. There's a tom that's also consistently hit that's noticeably louder than all the other drums.

Guitars sound great, vocals are a bit Bowie-esque which is always a good time.
Yeah - it's basically down to things like "pokey tom hits" - which I wholeheartedly agree with. I was of similar thinking.

I also agree the snare can come up a smidge. That's a technical term, smidge. :D

Most folks here know how much I hate remixing things, but somehow I found the strength to persevere. :D

I truly do treasure the input. I need to sometimes be goaded/pressured into doing the right thing for the mix - and this place helps give me the kick in the pants that gets me over the finish line. Thanks all!!

Magnificent, exuberant

I did remix a final (hopefully) version this morning and blended it w/ the video. I'm posting here so helpful contributors can enjoy the fruits of their suggestions in video format.

Thanks (warmly) to all - and Tjarko - incredible next level input from you especially.

Enjoyed that. Good tune. 👍
Thanks P!

This is me, btw ...

I saw this and was going to post. Being from the aerospace industry, naming is rather a big deal. I use revision and versioning. A.1, A.2, I still have the same problem, but at least I stay consistent with my naming :-) Letter being major and the number being minor.

I enter the name first, then the mix date, and often a code for the settings that I created for quick reference.
