well=?=? where to start?? i have a small problem. i have monitors and headphones on the same output bus, so when we record and the guitarist wants to hear more snare i have to here more snare! and if i want more bas, guitarist have to hear more bas. i hate to do things like this! how to make a submix in cubase???

how in the world can i send the signals to stereo bus1 (to the monitors) and at the same time to bus 2 for headphones

i know that this is stupid question but any help is usefull, so thank you for your repies if there will be any!

Depending on the size of your console... you may have a 2nd mix buss, or you can use the auxiliiaries to provide custom mixes.....

can i do it in cubase? i would be glad if i could send signals to headprone preamp directly via out 3 and 4! is this possible?

There's auxiliaries there too - you should be able to use in the same way... you'd need to specify an output buss that is assigned to your 3rd/4th channels on your card though.....

i tried to do it with auxes, but there is a new problem. if i want to send signal through main bus (monitors) and headphone bus and mix it seperate, i cant hear what i play on guitar, so, i dont hear input.

but then, if i want to hear playback and input (guitar) the aux doesnt work. when i put auxes fader up, i only hear louder sound from main bus, like i would turn cahnnels luder! ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

i hope anybody understands thi crap! :)

thaks for your support blue bear! but do you smell my problem now??? i know its kinnda complicated now, so i wont be  or :( if you wont help me!

That is exactly why I only use Cubase for editing....... it would drive me nuts having to re-route I/O with a mouse just to patch thru a simple monitor mix......

Would you consider giving up recording on computer and switching to multitrack recorders and an 8-buss mixer? ;) :D

hey b.b. (bibi) :) ! everything above i did in cubase! auxes and stuff! cubase is the problem. i use analog mixer only for preams. everyzhing else i do with cubase. i just cant setup the bus 2 (headphones) and bus 1 (monitors) and input to work all together. ?????
