Hi there,
I'm thinking of getting a bass, just so I can actually play bass lines in my amateur home recording set-up, instead of programming them in with FruityLoops or something similar.
My budget is a bit small (sub-£150/$230), but I'm really only looking for a bass just to do the above - I can't stretch it any further anyway! The styles I play are mainly funk and rock. At the moment I'm looking at the Kramer Striker 422S Bass from musicyo.com. Does anyone know anything about this one? What else would you recommend?
For this price, what sort of bass can I expect? Will it feel very budgety compared to a Fender Mexican P Bass, as I almost went for that b4 Xmas, but instead got a POD (which I'm very glad I did!)....or is the difference not so large these days?
Thanks in advance,
aLeX
