OK...
In SONAR5...I have a General MIDI composition which I created in SONAR 2...that I thought was complete...in that...I could open it up & play it thru my old rompler (XV-5050); & each instrument track played fine (having it's own channel, bank & patch assignment)...& the drum tracks played fine also (having their own channel assignment, 10.)
Well...this tune doesn't play so well out of SONAR5 & my new rompler (Motif-Rack ES.) The instrument tracks seem to be OK...but the drums are non-existant.
With the output assigned to the Yamaha USB driver, I get nothing. W/ the output assigned to a drum map (say...GM Drums / Basic Kit), I get nothing.
How do I set up SONAR 5 w/ various, regular ol' MIDI Drum tracks...w/ one track assigned to Snare, one to Kick, one to Hi-Hat, etc., etc...where the tracks are outputting General MIDI drum data; & any damn wavetable synth or rompler can play them ???
Thanks,
