CoolCat Well-known member Jun 17, 2006 #2 Air gap/isolation is the goal...... you probably won't hear a difference, so it's probably not critical between the two if you can't hear a difference. if you had a measurement tool you could maybe measure the vibration quantity/freq of the stand and compare? toss a coin...heads its spikes! just my 2 cents,
