The not fountain head
Hey peoples....

I was posting on this in someone else's thread... So I'll just start my own...

I'm seriously considering this as my next studio purchase...

Here's the lowest price I found : $299.00 (plus shipping)

Here's an off-site thread that touches on this subject...

Any thoughts, lower prices, reviews, and/or alternatives (in this price range with 88 hammer action keys) would be cool...

Thanks as always.... :D

How about the Keystation Pro 88... Any word on that?? Anyone control ProTools with it? Please help... This money is burning a hole in my pocket and wanting to buy somthing is burning a hole in my head....

I haven't played the Studiologic, but I have used the Keystation Pro 88. I didn't care for the feel of it too much. The massive ammount of controls on the thing were awesome, and you could even program zones and splits and stuff, but the feel of the weighted keys themselves was lacking. The black keys depressed below the white keys, and the bounce back on the keyboard was such that doing repetitions of notes would cause very inconsistent velocities. If the keyboard mechanism on it was good, that would be an amazing controller. Just my 2cents.

Thanks... That helps me... I had read that somewhere else.. Now it's confirmed.. hmm.. Studio logic is a hundred cheaper but without the controls...hmmm
