studio setup

hi, this is my first post here:

For the last few month I've benn recording with a sony ecm ms-907 mic plugged in directly into my soundblaster audigy 4 soundcard, and then recorded with cubase se 3. Now I want to upgrade.

My budget is about 1.600 €.

I want to record acoustic guitar, electric guitar through an amp, an upright piano and vocals, mostly rock music.

I researched a bit and came up to: shure sm57 --> mackie 1402 --> delta 1010lt + monitors, midi controller keyboard and a mic for the piano and vocals (what do you recommend).

Is this a good setup? What would you do with 1.600?

If you need my computer specs:

pentium 4 3.4GHz, 512 mb of ram

as far as mics go a 57 is fine, and maybe augment it with a
adk hamburg?

probably be a fine set up.
