It also should be noted that alanhyatt is the owner of Studio Projects and he has a finanacial interest imbedded in all his comments/opinions concerning Studio Projects products.

Alan use to sign all his post with something like...

But for some reason he doesn't anymore. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with this... but we should remember who he is when reading his comments and opinions.

Alan's never had any comments that I've encountered to be misleading.

Just as any other person on this board, he has his own experiences and opinions. So he owns Studio Projects (does he really?). I've seen his posts suggesting that other microphones may be better than an SP in certain circumstances.

Let's not get into insinuating anything if you disagree with someone. It's unhealthy for the forum at the very least.

Kevin, you just registered here...how the hell do you know what Alan has said?......

No need to be hostile, Gidge. I said "that I've encountered"

I've been visiting the board daily for the past 3 weeks and Alan's posts to me have always been straight up. So he has a personal interest in HIS microphones. I'd expect him to have faith in his own products. Just as you probably think you've got potential as a great music producer, or whatever you do.

I've paid particular attention to the Studio Projects posts because I was in the market for a C1. I got a C3 instead. I've read several alanhyatt posts. It was only after the first week that I found out alan was a major player in the SP company.

I never claimed to know more than you veterans. I'll be the first to admit I have no idea what I'm doing when I have a question. But it doesn't take 7000+ posts to form an opinion on other people.

Now, if you can point me toward an outright LIE that is attributed to alan, then show me the light. My ears are open. I was just saying don't insinuate a negative about someone if you don't back it up.

KevinTran, I'm not saying there is anything wrong with this... but we should remember who he is when reading his comments and opinions about SP products. However, there were some things said about the E series mic's and etc that I believe are questionable.

You're not gonna ban me from this board are ya, Gidge?

Kevin,

Gidge is always a ball buster, but usually in a more humorous manner. :)

Look, DJL, My signature box is checked, although my name is pretty well known around these parts, I have no idea why it is not coming up. Truth is, I have not paid any intention... If you think that has hurt someone here, I beg your royal forgiveness.

Seems like you have a very large bug up your ass lately that needs removing. If you are referring to the E Series being made in the USA using some Chinese and American parts, well then, don't Buy One, and don't buy the Stephen Paul mic either, but get off my back already and move on. You have been very vocal lately in a few groups about what you like, and I think we all know it buy now.

So either spew your problem with me, or get over it already.

This is for your benefit...

You guys, Alan's totally mellowed out.

It's been quite some time since I've seen him on one of his spam crusades, so cut the guy some slack.

Kevin, that was not hostile........i just found it odd that you can vouch for someone based on such limited exposure........

as it stands, i think ive recommended Studio projects mics as much as anyone here, so its not like im trying to hate on the dude......

yes, i do know of 1 or 2 instances (or more) where info may have been slanted the wrong way, but all that was addressed and we moved on....but then again, you werent here so you wouldnt know that......

welcome to the board.....

exactly chessrock.....

even if he does spam, he's earned the right after running thru our gauntlet of attacks:D

I'm rather impressed with the durability of his flame suit, myself.

Maybe he should market the "Studio Projects Flame Suit." :D Then he could put some glowy tubes on it and go around to all the internet boards and talk it up.

Oh Alan, don't get all hot and bothered... I'm just pointing out some facts. Your here to sell to your products and to try and squash your competition. :D

Chess defending Alan? WTF is going here and where is the real mic forum? This must be the Bizarro Mic Forum.

Kids, kids....pleeaaaseee....let's not go there again. Remember, your full grown adults now.
Even if he did advertise a bit, who cares really...nobody is going to die....everything is going to be just fine. Move on, use your mics, keep tracking, make music, be happy.

I prefer an Alan that might advertise, but still that I can speak to personally in this place, ask questions, etc, than no Alan at all.
