Hey, would anyone be able to post something that theyve recorded using the studio projects b1. Im really interested in this mic but havent gotten to hear what it can really do. It would be awesome if some of you guys could show me what youve gotten from it . Thanks alot.

There was a song in the MP3 mixing clinic a little ways back that someone had recorded almost enitirely (I'm pretty sure) with a B1. It sounded great, although I would bet that the quality of the instruments, room, and engineer had a lot to do with it. I looked for it, but I couldn't find it. If I do, I'll post the link.

i love the sounds on that song...thats why i bought two b1 condensers...and they sound great....great plus if you get these mics man....

Yea, definitly nice sounding recordings. Im glad to hear that most people are happy with the mic. Im recording into an audio buddy to my audiophile 2496. Hopefully they would work pretty well with that set up if i decide to get them. I'm not liking the sound im getting from my mxl 990 and 991. Thats my reason as to why im thinking to get the B1. BUT , I have gotten a little better sounds through mic placement so im gonna keep experimenting before i jump the gun on this mic. Sounds Nice. Thanks

Fantastic sounding song, Robertt8. That just serves to prove how well the B-1 stands up to more expensive alternatives.

ROOKIE85: Thanks man! They seem especially good (at least for me) with recording acoustic guitars. Not bad little overhead mics either.

EROCKRAZOR: I'm not familiar with the Audiophile thingy (i went from the B1 to the audio buddy to my Roland VS-880EX) I don't see why that wouldn't work though. Some people seem very happy with their MXL990s. If you're getting good sounds out of that puppy, just hang with it. I personally usually record the B1 about 5 inches away from my 12th fret pointed sort of towards the sound hole. Try that...that may or not help. good luck!

TRYPTOPHAN: Thanks...and i completely agree!
