Flip flopping?

That's kind of what I was worried / concerned about. I hope that isn't his motivation. I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt, but it does seem rather fishy that he seems to praise the capabilities of those who at least mildly champion him and his product.

There’s no doubt about it. Alan goes from trade show to trade show pimping PMI-AG products and he knows how valuable hr.com can be for sales… Alan is a gear pimp first… it’s his job. It’s sad when a distribution company salesman starts telling everyone who we should and shouldn’t trust. Personally, the main thing I like the most about hr.com is reading what everyday people like you and myself have experienced with the equipment.

My theory is that the only reason Alan still bothers to post here is because if he didn't, you'd have an open floor to make scandalous comments about his business without any recourse. I'd say that the day you grow up and shut up is the day he stops seeing a need to post here at all, especially now they have their own place.

That must be kinda' tough.

Especially for a younger and less-established mic distributor. I mean when I think of real, professional-level tools, I think of Shure. Audio Technica. The giants of the mic industry, basically. It must be tough to have to compete with that.

I'm going to have to start listening to his guitar clips on the other forum. I hear that guy can play a mean axe.
